What is a Braces?

Braces are devices used in orthodontics to align and straighten the direction of teeth and a jaw.
Modern dentistry offers three main types of braces.

♦ Metal braces
♦ Ceramic braces
♦ Sapphire braces

Metal braces are made from medical metal alloys. The metal does not oxidize, does not decay and is absolutely safe for the body.

Ceramic braces are made from ceramic material, white and opaque. These brackets are barely noticeable on teeth.

Sapphire braces are made of polycrystalline aluminum oxide, which is chemically artificial sapphire. These braces are distinguished by aesthetics, the only drawback is the very high cost.
