The All-on-6 method involves placing six implants in a single jaw, allowing for the full restoration of chewing function. This approach addresses and eliminates the drawbacks of the All-on-4 method, making it a more reliable option.
A total of six implants are placed in one jaw. Two implants are positioned in the front section. Four implants (two on each side) are placed at an angle of up to 45° in the lateral sections. The side implants provide strong support for the prosthesis, while the central implants ensure even load distribution.
Implants are placed in the areas of extracted teeth or directly into the gums by forming small sockets. This approach minimizes tissue damage and ensures a faster recovery.
Advantages of the All-on-6 Method
3. Ideal Distribution of Chewing Pressure
The six evenly placed implants ensure proper distribution of chewing heaviness. This slows down bone tissue loss and extends the longevity of the restoration.
